Free Computer Tech Support Group explained

It seems that I need to clarify what my online group is and what it is not.

  • It is a forum where members can express and share ideas as they relate to personal computing.
  • Ask and answer specific questions, get and give recommendations on specific topics, products and services.
  • It is very important that you know what it is you're trying to accomplish, before asking for help.
  • It is not a computer class or study group, everyone has different objectives, I suggest you define yours and then practice, practice, practice.
  1. I want to help people manage their expectations as it relates to personal computing.
  2. There is a learning curve for most tasks, it is usually never intuitive, I will direct you to where you can learn how-to.
  3. Do you know the basics, create, copy, rename, cut or paste a folder or file?  The difference between installing a program and downloading a file or where that file goes?
A good barber, doctor, mechanic, and dentist we all should have them, now it's time for a good computer guy.
It is very important that you only use Certified Experienced Professionals when spending your hard earned money for computer service and support.
